Justin Young is a 28-year-old player from North Carolina who has been playing poker seriously for three years. He graduated from North Carolina State with a degree in mechanical engineering, and that was his career before he got into poker.
This is Young's third cash in a WPT event, and his first final table. He cashed twice during the 2008 WSOP, and spent some time at the TV table on Day 2 of the WSOP Main Event, so he has a little experience playing in front of the cameras. The biggest victory of his career came in $2,500 no-limit hold'em here at Bellagio in the 2006 Festa al Lago tournament, where he earned $113,000. But even a sixth place finish here would nearly double that number.
Young finished 2nd at the Season VII Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic earning $1,034,810.
