Kevin Saul started his poker playing career long before he could ever enter a poker room. Barely into his teens, Saul was good with a pool cue and quickly gained the admiration of his fellow players. Before long, the friendships he made on the pool felt found their way to the poker baize. Saul, a wiry and excitable young player, started out with a relatively inexpensive quarter-ante pot-limit Omaha game. When most of the world was learning to play poker with two cards, Saul used four. He played the game for two years before discovering Texas Hold’em.

Too young to play in brick and mortar casinos or online, Saul and his friends organized elaborate home games. Over time, the people in those games found their way to the big poker scene. Once he was old enough to play online, Saul quickly established himself as a feared player under the online name "BeLOWaBOVe". His prowess was not limited to online play. Though he made tones of money on the virtual tables, he soon learned how much he could enjoy and earn playing live. Though he went to a few semesters of college, delivered produce, and managed a home improvement store, it seemed inevitable Saul would turn himself into a poker pro.

Since turning pro, Saul has won untold amounts of money online and gained a deep respect among his peers in the brick and mortar world. He has nearly $2 million in live winnings to his name. Among his many cashes in big buy-in events, Saul has four major final tables to his name. His biggest win came at the 2007 Bellagio Cup III. After a lukewarm World Series, Saul stormed into the Bellagio and ran over the field for a $1.3 million payday.
