Kirill Gerasimov is from Moscow, Russia. Before he entered the poker world, he worked as an insurance agent. He's been riding horses as a hobby for most of his life. Kirill says he learned about the game of poker by reading Doyle Brunson's book, Super System, and from playing with poker pro Marcel Luske. Those resources have certainly paid off for the young Russian. He has cashed in poker tournaments all over the world. Kirill has made the money in three World Poker Tour events and has made one WPT final table. He placed second in the WPT World Championship during Season 1. Alan Goehring took the top prize in that event, but Kirill still made more than $506,000. Since then, he has made several World Series of Poker final tables and played dozens of major tournaments.
