Mark Edwards is almost all business. He has spent an entire career in the working world, one which culminated in the sale of his management consulting firm. With the money he made from selling his business, Edwards took to private investing. That decision proved to be successful enough to afford the California native some time to dabble in the poker world. Edwards learned the game before he was even old enough to go to school. His father taught him how to play poker at the age of four. Now and adult with some extra cash on hand, Edwards decided to play a few tournaments a year. Once again, Edwards made a good decision. Since he started entering poker tournaments Edwards has cashed in ten World Series of Poker events and four World Poker Tour events. One of his biggest accomplishments was a final table appearance at the World Poker Challenge in Season 1 of the WPT. Edwards placed fifth and won more than $20,000. I 2006, Edwards won more than $30,000 in a World Series Circuit event. Today, he continues to play poker while he manages his investments.
