It's no surprise Mark Mache has found some success in the poker world. He loves to travel and he's a math wizard. A financial analyst from Vancouver, Mache likes to spend his free time on gambling junkets and traveling as far and wide as he can.

Among Mache's many talents is a sixth sense for poker. One of his many travels took him to San Francisco. There, he ended up playing in a World Poker Tour event.

Mache's entry into the Bay 101 Shooting Star event in 2004 saw him land among some of the top poker professionals in the world, including 2003 World Series of Poker Champion Chris Moneymaker and eventual WPT champion Phil Gordon. Mache made the final table and placed fifth for a nearly $60,000 payday. Since then, Mache has stayed on the road but off the poker circuit.
