Mel Judah was born in Calcutta, India, and after some time spent in Australia, has settled in London. This former Vidal Sassoon hairdresser currently travels the international poker tournament circuit, a regular attendee at every major US event. While frequently a competitor in the largest NL Hold 'Em events,he is one of the top ranked players is Seven Card Stud. Patience and changing gears are the key skills Mel believes make a great tournament player. These skills paid off as Mel clinched the victory at Bicycle Casino's Legends of Poker tournament and placed 6th at the Five Diamond World Poker Classic event. Mel learned to play poker by watching his dad and credits his father with some of his most enduring skills. Mel says he adjusts his style of play to the table he's on at any given moment. Over the years he has been in the money at the World Series more than 34 times. Mel says the exposure from his World Poker Tour television appearances have opened many new doors for him. He is currently a tournament director for the World Poker Championships in Dublin, Ireland, and says his dream job is to someday be the owner of a casino.
