Michael Sukonik is a name recognized by many old-school tournament and cash game players in the poker world, as he has been playing for 48 years. Though he earned his keep and supported his family through business endeavors in the Philadelphia area, his true love has been poker for most of his life. With his first recorded tournament results dating back to 1996, Michael's first significant win was at the United States Poker Championship in Atlantic City in 1999 at the $1000 no-limit hold'em event.
