Norm is best known for his years as the host of Weekend Update on Saturday Night Live, and most recently for starring in the Fox television series, A Minute with Stan Hooper. Born in Quebec, Norm's career began as a writer for The Dennis Miller Show, and Roseanne. He was famously fired from SNL by Don Ohlmeyer, President of NBC, because, as Norm told David Letterman on his show, "they didn't think I was funny." Norm became a U.S. citizen in 2003. Norm looks like a poker player, and for good reason, he's been playing for years.
