This 28 year-old poker pro from Barcelona, Spain, is little known in the U.S., even though the lion's share of his winnings, more than half a million, were accrued here in his three years of playing the American pro poker circuit. Raul appears to have decided it was time to hang up his dream of becoming a movie star " or perhaps he's just temporarily setting it aside due to his rapid ascent through the professional poker ranks. Tunica has been good to the young Spaniard. Besides finishing in the money in two other 2005 events, Paez made his WPT final table debut at the 2006 main event. One might venture a guess that his "little known" status may be about to change.
