This 42 year-old San Jose, California manufacturing engineer was born and raised in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Among his former professions was that of blackjack dealer in Toronto. This experience ultimately led him to the other side of the green felt, as a player, and a good one. Although he has cashed in a number of tournaments since 1998, Ravi made.his first WPT final table appearance at the Season 4 Bay 101 when he qualified via a $365 satellite and this one promises to net him a payout larger than his total winnings to date.
