No one will ever accuse Remco Schrijvers of being a dummy. In college, his game was Applied Physics. His part time job was poker. It was the type of thing that made his Dutch friends envious. From the relative tranquility of his bedroom, Schrijvers sat back and played online poker to the tune of more than most of his buddies could make working three part time jobs. Starting with a small buy-in of $50, Schrijvers was eventually earning upwards of $65 an hour. When he cashed out $30,000 to the good, he decided to take a year off to travel across the United States. He ended up winning more money in Las Vegas while he was there. No one doubted that it wouldn't be long before the Dutchman ended up a big final table. In Season 2 of the World Poker Tour, Schrijvers made it all the way to the final table of the Caribbean Poker Adventure. His sixth place finish earned him nearly $75,000 and once again gave him another way to make his friends back in the Netherlands envious.
