Steve Harris began his acting career with roles in a handful of television's top crime dramas, including "Homicide", "Law & Order", "Murder One" and "New York Undercover". Though Harris rose to prominence with his portrayal of Eugene Young in the television hit "The Practice," he's no stranger to the big screen - his long list of credits include a paramilitary Marine in The Rock, pre-cog policeman in Spielberg's Minority Report, and a leading role in Tyler Perry's Diary of a Mad Black Woman.
A Chicago native who played linebacker at Northern Illinois University, Harris received his Master of Fine Arts degree in theater from the University of Delaware. He is the older brother of actor Wood Harris, who is best known for his work on HBO's crime drama "The Wire".
Though he didn't emerge victorious from WPT's inaugural Hollywood Home Game, Steve's competitive nature remains obvious in his non-stop work ethic. Recently, he's lent his chops to the ABC hits "Grey's Anatomy" and "Eli Stone" and regularly showcases his vocal talents on the animated hit "The Batman".
