Tim Frazin operates two pizza restaurants in Dallas, Texas and says he still delivers pizza once in a while. His favorite pie is cheese sprinkled with a few jalapenos. Tim claims that when he’s making a big bet, he thinks of the poker chips in terms of pizzas, not dollars. So when he pushes all in - that’s a lot of pepperoni! Frazin likes most sports but likes to run for exercise and enjoys mixing it up on the ice playing a little hockey. His girlfriend and family are very supportive of his poker playing.
Tim has an unorthodox method for making some important decisions in a hand. He uses a Magic 8-Ball. Frazin went through several balls before he found one he felt was as accurate as this one has been. Although most players find this unusual tool humorous, one of his disgruntled competitors at a tournament threw it across the room. Tim says he is writing a book on poker called How to Lose at Poker & Still Have Fun. But Frazin doesn’t like losing. Sometimes he’ll beg people to fold because he doesn’t lose a race.
Tim is very chatty at the table and some players get tired of it, asking for earplugs. He does a little trash talking, but he can talk about anything. Frazin likes that players try and tune him out because then they aren’t trying to read him. Tim has been playing for about two years and wants to be considered and up-and-coming player. He is especially excited about the prospect of winning a World Poker Tour title and gaining Player of the Year points. Will it happen for him in 2008? As the 8-Ball says, “Outlook good.”
