Now in his 80s, Tony Grand is still a contender at the poker tables. This former amusement park owner lives in Chatsworth, California, and he has more than twenty years experience playing poker. One glance at his poker stats shows a well-rounded player with tournament cashes in Limit and No-Limit Hold 'em, Stud, and Lowball. He has a calm demeanor and the respect of his peers when he sits down at the tables. Grand made history during Season Four of the World Poker Tour. He became the oldest person to make a final table on the WPT during the North American Poker Championship. Grand went out in sixth place, winning more than $96,000. In 2007, he showed he was still a competitor on the WPT. He won the $500 No-Limit Hold 'em event at the Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City.
