Some Players Choose Baccarat Over Poker

There were three players who didn’t show up at the start of play, and here were their starting stacks:

Denny Peng – 85,000 (11 bb)
Shi Jie Cai – 68,000 (9 bb)
Yang Kit Chan – 181,000 (23 bb)

It’s rumored that at least two of those players (Shi Jie Cai and Yang Kit Chan) were at the Baccarat tables, choosing that over a Super High Roller with a first prize worth more than $3.4 million.

Peng and Cai both blinded out during this first level of play, while Yang Kit Chan arrived about 45 minutes late to a short stack.
