The event had a $500,000 guarantee on the prize pool, but thanks to the more than 3,000 entries in the field, more than $900,000 was up for grabs.
The top 300 places reached a cash, with in-the-money finishes from Frankie Flowers (68th), TK Miles (88th), Scott Davies (135th), Victor Figueroa (201st), and Jake Schwartz (212th). WPT Champions Club member James Romero, who won the record-breaking Season XV WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic Main Event for $1.938 million, finished in 134th place.
Included in Henry’s prize is a seat to the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Freeroll. The event is for winners of events 1-14, with first place being a seat to the $10,000 buy-in WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Finale and second place being a seat to the $3,500 buy-in WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship.
The $3,500 buy-in WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship, taking place March 31-April 5, and the $10,000 buy-in WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Finale, taking place April 2-6, are the final two WPT Main Tour events of Season XV and the last two chances players will have to win their way to the rake-free, $15,000 buy-in Monster WPT Tournament of Champions that has $100,000 in cash added to the prize pool. Both of these events feature a $2 million guaranteed prize pool.
