It’s now 2017, and with the new year the World Poker Tour welcomes the start of an exciting new promotion on ClubWPT. During the months of January and February, ClubWPT players have the opportunity to be one of 16 fortunate winners in the King of the Club promotion.
These 16 winners will compete April 5-10, 2017, at one of two televised final tables at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The competitors will be playing for a share of $37,500 in cash and prizes, including a $10,000 buy-in seat to a WPT Main Tour event in Season XVI.
Not only will the 16 finalists be battling on the big stage for great cash and prizes, but they’ll experience the Season XV WPT Tournament of Champions final table in grand fashion, meeting Mike Sexton, Vince Van Patten, and Lynn Gilmartin on the legendary final table set. They’ll also receive special VIP treatment during their stay. During the dates while the 16 players are at Seminole Hard Rock in beautiful South Florida, they will experience the world-class amenities the property has to offer and participate in special off-the-felt activities designed only for the ClubWPT winners.

How does one qualify for a chance to become the King of the Club?
Qualifiers will run each week during January and February, with eight weekly King of the Club Qualifiers are varying times per the King of the Club Qualifier schedule. At the end of each month, there is a King of the Club TV Final for all the qualifiers to participate in.
The first King of the Club TV Final tournament will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017, at 6 p.m. ET for those who qualified from January 1-29, and the second will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at 6 p.m. ET for those who qualified January 29-Febuary 26. The top eight finishers from each of these two King of the Club TV Final tournaments win a King of the Club TV Seat.
