The final day of the PMU.fr WPT National Marrakech Main Event wrapped up after seven hours of play at Casino Es Saadi in Marrakesh, and the last player standing was France’s Rodolphe Rey. Rey, who qualified for the Main Event for just €120 on PMU.fr, outlasted a field of 462 entries to capture the top prize of $102,714 and a shiny new WPT National trophy. The United Kingdom’s Benjamin Dadon fell just short of the first place-prize, finishing runner-up for $71,900.

Notable players in the field included French rap star La Fouine, French footballer Camel Meriem, WPT Champions Guillaume Darcourt and Mohamed Ali, and PMU.fr pros Erwann Pecheux, Brian Behamou, Romain Paon, and Damien Lhommeau.

The high roller attracted 78 entries, generating a total prize pool of $153,224. Frenchmen Sebastien Boyard and Paul Tedeschi were a part of a three-way deal that netted each player at least $30,000.
