Los Angeles, CA (March 24, 2017) – The Season XV Monster® WPT® Tournament of Champions kicks off April 7, 2017, at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and the World Poker Tour® today announced that the event’s champion will be awarded a brand new 2018 Audi S5 Coupe.

The 2018 Audi S5 Coupe boasts a powerful, 354-horsepower, twin-scroll turbocharged engine and is equipped with Audi’s famed quattro® all-wheel drive.

The Monster WPT Tournament of Champions is rake-free, with a $15,000 buy-in. Monster has added $100,000 in cash to the prize pool, and each member of the six-handed, televised final table will receive a Monster Superstar Ravebox. In addition to the 2018 Audi S5 and lion’s share of the event’s purse, the winner of the Monster WPT Tournament of Champions will also take home the following great prizes:

– A pair of Rose Gold Wireless Over-Ear Element Headphones from Monster
– A Hublot® King Power Unico Carbon and Red watch
– A custom premium poker table from BBO Poker Tables
– A seat in Tiger’s Poker Night Presented by World Poker Tour
– A one-week stay with Wyndham® Extra Holidays

All participants in the Season XV Monster WPT Tournament of Champions will receive a custom-fitted pair of sunglasses from Maui Jim®, maker of premium, PolarizedPlus2® color-enhancing sunglasses, and the official sunglasses partner of the WPT. Maui Jim representatives will be present on-site to custom fit each WPT Champions Club member with their own pair of sunglasses.

The Monster WPT Tournament of Champions will once again be played with the Action Clock created by Protection Poker. Players will have a 30-second clock for each action to help ensure an efficient pace of play and increase the strategy element for the Monster WPT Tournament of Champions. Each player will receive five, 30-second time extensions that they can use at any time leading up to the final table. At the televised final table, all six players will reset with four, 30-second extensions.

The Season XIV Monster WPT Tournament of Champions attracted 64 of the greatest players in World Poker Tour history last year, with Farid Yachou winning the $381,600 first-place prize and driving off in a 2016 Corvette courtesy of Monster.
