The second starting flight of the Season XV partypoker World Poker Tour® Prague €3,300 Main Event took place on Saturday, attracting 79 entries and bringing the total field size up to 148. Of those 79, 42 survived to Day 2.

Petr Macháček and his stack of 152,800 in chips finished with the lead, but overall it remained Christian Egues in pole position with a stack of 206,700 to end Day 1a on Friday.

On the final Day 1, partypoker qualifiers Max Swennen, Pim Van, Thomasz Raniszewski, and Adrian Kujawski were all in the hunt, as were partypoker ambassadors Tony Dunst and Natalia Breviglieri.

Dunst was unlucky to bust about halfway into the day’s play when he lost a flip holding ace-king against an opponent’s pocket tens. He was straight back in the saddle though and would end up doubling just before the end of Level 6 with queens against ace-jack to finish up with 101,500.

Breviglieri took a huge hit early on, running queens into kings and losing three quarters of her stack, but fought back patiently, getting double ups when needed, to end the day on 62,900.

The story of the last two levels went to Leon Tsoukernik, who completely changed the dynamic of his table and generated a huge amount of action and a shot of adrenaline after six hours of tough tournament poker. His fearless action style saw him put players to the test many times, and he spun his stack up to 144,000 to end the day.

Day 2 will begin on Sunday at 2 p.m. local time, with late registration available for one hour into the day. You’ll be able to find coverage right here on WPT.com.
