Following its recent acquisition by the World Poker Tour, Season 4 of WPTDeepStacks kicked off in incredible fashion with the largest field size in the tour’s history. Thanks to his large chip lead at the time, Wong made out very well from the deal, as first place was originally set at $251,100. It was the third largest score of his live tournament career.

The top 387 places reached the money in the event, with deep runs had by Jake Scwartz (13th – $7,290), David Prociak (26th – $8,240), Kenneth Hicks (36th – $4,525), and Jacobo Fernandez ($1,500).
