Poker Players Can Now Qualify for WPTDeepStacks™ Events, Starting with the €500,000 Guaranteed WPTDeepStacks Berlin

Location (November 6, 2017) – Today, 888poker and World Poker Tour® announced a new partnership that will provide players the opportunity to qualify for WPTDeepStacks™ events across the globe.
As part of its strategy to “take back the game,” 888poker is committed to making poker more accessible to all, including offering qualifiers to prestigious World Poker Tour events around the globe. Qualifiers are running now on 888poker, and professional and recreational players alike will have the opportunity to qualify for WPTDeepStacks events for as little as one cent.
The first event players can qualify for is the WPTDeepStacks Berlin €1,500 Main Event that kicks off the Season XVI WPT European Championship festival. The WPTDeepStacks Berlin Main Event runs January 5-8, 2018, at Spielbank Berlin and features a €500,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Now through December 24, 2017, a seat-only qualifier will run every Monday at 7:35 p.m. GMT on 888poker. This qualifier has a buy-in of $109 and will award seats to the WPTDeepStacks Berlin Main Event for every $1,750 in the prize pool.
Also through December 24, 2017, a $160 qualifier will run every Thursday at 7:35 p.m. GMT. This qualifier will award one package to the WPTDeepStacks Berlin Main Event for every $2,400 in the prize pool.
For both the $109 and $160 qualifiers, daily sub-satellites will be running for as low as one cent.
This partnership is the latest in a series of moves by 888poker in an effort to provide its players with more opportunities to participate in major global poker events.
