Los Angeles, CA (May 10, 2017) – World Poker Tour® today announced expansion into South America for its first-ever televised event on the continent, coming to Enjoy Punta del Este October 31-November 5.
The World Poker Tour’s historic first trip to Uruguay will feature a televised WPTDeepStacks™ Main Event from November 1-5. The event comes with a buy-in of $1,500 and two starting flights. The event will be filmed for broadcast as part of the Season XVI WPT® television schedule on FOX Sports Regional Networks, with additional tournament coverage provided by CodigoPoker, the region’s leading online poker media portal.
The full WPTDeepStacks Uruguay schedule will include additional side-event action, with more details to be released at a later date.
