Los Angeles, CA (September 8, 2016) – World Poker Tour® is proud to announce a new partnership with An Education Investment LTD. that will bring two WPT® National events to the Cambodian region. The first event will be WPT National Thailand to run Dec. 22-29, 2016, and the second event will be WPT National Cambodia to run Jan. 2-13, 2017.
WPT National Thailand will take place at Holiday Palace Casino & Resort in Poipet, Cambodia. This event will feature a Main Event buy-in of THB 37,400 (approx. $1,100) and three starting flights, taking place on Dec. 22, 23, and 26. The days of Dec. 24-25 will be off days for the Main Event, but there will be side events running on those days, along with a guest party.
WPT National Cambodia will take place at Queenco Hotel & Casino in Sihanoukville, Cambodia from Jan. 2-13. The Main Event will feature three starting days on Jan. 3, 4, and 6, and the buy-in will be $1,485.

Both the WPT National Thailand Main Event and the WPT National Cambodia Main Event will feature re-entry formats, and players will be allowed two entries per starting day for a total of six entries.
