World Poker Tour was honored on Tuesday evening at the 2016 European Poker Awards, as Head of WPT Europe Hermance Blum was named the Industry Person of the Year. Blum played a key role in the World Poker Tour’s expansion into Europe during Season XIV, including the launch of WPT Amsterdam which returns to Holland Casino next week.
A graduate of IUT Paris XII and Aspect Sydney School, Hermance Blum has been with the World Poker Tour since 2011. As Head of WPT Europe, Hermance oversees the strategy of the World Poker Tour in Europe through the expansion of the WPT Main and National Tour.
The WPT’s European footprint will continue to expand in May with the WPT National Iberia Main Event, which is being held in both Portugal and Spain simultaneously to create a larger prize at an affordable buy-in. European poker players can also look forward to:
