Xinyu Zhao limps from under the gun, Shooting Star Noah Schwartz limps from the cutoff, and fellow Shooting Star David Tuchman raises all in for 68,000. Zhao folds after some though, and Schwartz mulls it over for about 90 seconds before he calls.

WPT Executive Tournament Director Matt Savage hands the microphone to Tuchman so he can announce his own hand.

“King-queen vs. king-ten suited,” says Tuchman. “The flop is — oh jeez — nine-five-two with two clubs, and Schwartz has a flush draw. The turn is the jack of spades, and now Noah has more outs. Oh wait, no he doesn’t. Schwartz needs a queen or a club. The river is — the five of spades, and Tuchman doubles up.”

The board came Club 9Heart 5Club 2Spade JSpade 5, and Tuchman won the pot with his queen to double up in chips.

David Tuchman  –  164,000  (21 bb)
Noah Schwartz  –  170,000  (21 bb)

After the hand, Jason Les says, “I wasn’t rooting for you to bust, but it would’ve been really funny if you announced your own elimination.”
