Tyler Kenney Seems Happy With This Chop

There is multi-way action between five players preflop as there is a raise, and then a reraise from the cutoff to 1,500. The button calls, the under-the-gun player calls, and Martin Raus calls UTG+1. Tyler Kenney moves all in over the top from middle position for 25,900.

The cutoff and button fold, and the under-the-gun player moves all in over the top. Raus folds.

Kenney shows Spade ADiamond K, but his opponent turns over Heart AClub K — unless the board brings four cards of the same suit, it’ll be a chopped pot.

The flop comes Club QClub 5Club 2, giving the under-the-gun player a flush draw and putting Kenney at risk of elimination.

The turn card is the Diamond J, and Kenney needs to fade a club on the river to stay alive.

The river card is the Diamond 3, and Kenney breathes a big sigh of relief as it’s a chopped pot after all.
