Hand #145  –  Christophe Rosso limps in, and Darren Elias raises to 90,000. Rosso reraises all in for about 1,320,000 and Elias calls with [AcAs]. Rosso turns over [7d6s], and he needs to improve to stay alive.

The flop comes [10h6h5c], giving Rosso a pair of sixes and outs to stay alive.

Rosso’s friends and family go crazy as he takes the lead with two pair, sevens and sixes, on the verge of cracking aces to double up into the chip lead.

With two fives on the board, Darren Elias wins the pot — and back-to-back WPT titles — with two pair, aces and fives.

Christophe Rosso finishes as the runner-up, earning $64,900.

Darren Elias wins the WPT Caribbean, earning $127,680, a WPT Champions Trophy, and a pair of Gold Monster 24K Headphones. Elias will also get his name engraved on the one-and-only WPT Champions Cup for the second time, and this time his plaque will have a small diamond on it to signify that it’s his second title.
