With the final board showing on the river and about 20K already in the pot, Ryan Riess (pictured) checks under the gun, and his opponent bets 15,000 from the hijack, enough to put Riess all in. (Riess has about 12,500 behind).
Riess tanks for a very long time before somebody calls for a clock. A floorperson shows up to begin the 30-second countdown, and shortly after that, Riess calls, and his opponent shows for an ace-high straight. Riess turns over for an identical straight, and it’s a chopped pot.
