The World Poker Tour launched ClubWPT in 2008. The club operates as a subscription-based sweepstakes poker site in eligible jurisdictions.

ClubWPT stands out as a unique platform among U.S. based online poker sites, and although ClubWPT does NOT run real-money games, members can compete for real money prizes, seats to live WPT events, and luxury WPT Voyage packages.

The VIP subscription plan allows entry to all tournaments in the VIP tier. The Diamond plan allows unrestricted access to all tournaments in the Diamond tier, plus the VIP tier. How to Sign Up for ClubWPT

You can join ClubWPT from a select number of jurisdictions in the world, and you can only play the sweepstakes games for cash & prizes if you reside in, and play from, one of the 43 eligible U.S. states, or in Australia, Canada, France, or the United Kingdom.

Here’s how to sign up for a ClubWPT account:

  • Visit the ClubWPT website.
  • Click the green “Sign-Up” button at the top right of the ClubWPT home page
  • Enter a valid email, choose a username and password, and click “Continue”
  • Enter your name, DoB, and physical address, and choose a security question and answer.
  • On the next screen, choose your subscription and your payment method.

Sweepstakes Model

ClubWPT is NOT a real-money poker site. The cash & prizes available in the VIP, Diamond and Super SATurdays tournaments are offered under a sweepstakes gaming model. No purchase is necessary to play on ClubWPT.

At ClubWPT players can compete for cash & prizes, but direct cash deposits and withdrawals are not allowed. All prizes awarded in ClubWPT VIP, Diamond and Super SATurdays tournaments are sweepstakes prizes.

Those prizes include cash, luxury packages to WPT Voyage cruises, and even seats to live WPT Championship events.

VIP tier subscribers get access to all VIP games. Diamond tier subscribers enjoy unlimited access to all VIP and Diamond tournaments. And Super SATurdays add-on subscribers can play in all Super SATurdays games.

Software

If you’ve played online poker, you’ll be well familiar with the software at ClubWPT.

The main lobby lists all of the games available at ClubWPT. Games run 24/7/365 so there’s always a game to play. You can use the filters at the top left of the main lobby to see what games are running in the different categories (VIP, Diamond, Super SATurdays, and Free.)

If you want to compete for cash & prizes, you’ll need to play the tournaments under the VIP, Diamond and/or SuperSATurdays tab.

If a tournament is open for registration, you’ll see the “REGISTER” tab open. Tournaments not yet open for entry will display the word “CLOSED” in the tab.

Once you click “REGISTER”, your table will appear. Again, if you’ve ever played online poker, you’ll be comfortable with the ClubWPT game client interface.

When the action is on you, you’ll see buttons at the bottom of the screen that allow you to choose your decision (fold, bet, raise, call, check, etc.).

The software at ClubWPT presents a seamless online poker experience, and players of all experience levels should easily be able to enjoy the gameplay overall.

One of the best aspects of the ClubWPT software is the ability to play right on your desktop, with no download required, but there’s also the option to download the ClubWPT game client available for both Mac OS and Windows.

To play the free-to-play poker ring games, tournaments and social casino games, ClubWPT also offers a dedicated mobile app available for free download in the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android.)

Tournaments

The sweepstakes poker tournaments at ClubWPT (VIP, Diamond, and Super SATurdays tournaments) award cash and prizes. ClubWPT VIP members alone can compete for more than $200,000 in cash & prizes each month.

ClubWPT tournaments fall into two categories:

VIP Tournaments

VIP tournaments award Tournament Points (TP), cash,a nd prizes, and use TP as buy-in currency. VIP tournaments (aside from Freeroll tournaments) require a certain amount of TP to enter, and you compete for both TP and cash & prizes.

When you register for a ClubWPT account, you’ll start with 500 TP. New ClubWPT players who take advantage of the 14-day free VIP membership trial get 2,000 TP as a sign-up bonus.

You cannot purchase additional TP after you’ve signed up, but your TP balance reloads each day at midnight if/when it dips below 500 TP. The VIP menu also includes plenty of daily freeroll tournaments, which you can enter for free for the chance to win more TP.

Diamond Tournaments

Even more prizes are available to be won at ClubWPT in the Diamond tournaments. You must have a monthly Diamond subscription to be eligible to play in these events.

Diamond tournaments don’t require Tournament Points (TP) to enter, and a Diamond subscription offers unlimited access to the tournaments in this tier. You can play as many Diamond tournaments as you’d like as long as you have an active Diamond membership.   Diamond subscribers will find at least one major event available each day at ClubWPT.

The most lucrative prizes available at ClubWPT include entries to major live WPT Championship events and luxury packages to WPT Voyage cruises.

ClubWPT Super Saturdays

Any eligible ClubWPT member can add a Super SATurdays add-on subscription to their subscriptions. The Super SATurdays option can be added to both VIP and Diamond, or be added as a stand-alone tier (no VIP or Diamond subscription required.) The ClubWPT player is in full control, and plans can easily be down or upgraded inside their account at any given time to best fit their schedule.

Super SATurdays events offer a great chance to win a seat to an upcoming live WPT Championship event. Super SATurdays runs weekly, every single Saturday, and awards five (5) guaranteed live WPT Championship seats. For example, the prizes for a Super SATurday tournament could look like this:

  • 1st Place – $12,500 WPT World Championship Passport
  • 2nd-5th – $2,500 WPT Prime Championship Passport

Can I Win a World Poker Tour Seat on ClubWPT?

WPT Prime Championship Qualifiers

The WPT Prime Championship commences from the Wynn Las Vegas each year. 

The tournament truly sets a new bar for attendance and prize money for a live poker event. The 2023 edition of the WPT Prime Championship awarded more than $10 million for the $1,100 buy-in event.

The next chapter of the WPT Prime Championship rolls around in December 2024. ClubWPT sent over seventy (70) members to the 2023 edition of this event with $2,500 Prime Passport packages won through tournaments on ClubWPT.

WPT World Championship Qualifiers

What are Play Chips?

Play Chips (PC) are used to buy into free-to-play poker ring games and tournaments, and our virtual social casino games at ClubWPT. All players start with 5,000 PC when they first sign up for any ClubWPT account tier; VIP, Diamond, Super SATurdays, basic, and trial members. You do not need a ClubWPT subscription to play free-to-play poker ring games and tournaments, and in our virtual social casino games at ClubWPT.

ClubWPT also tops up your PC balance to 5,000 PC at midnight each day if/when it falls below 5,000 PC. Players can purchase additional amounts of PC for use in free-to-play poker ring games and tournaments, and for use in our virtual social casino. Play Chips have no monetary value and cannot be cashed out, reimbursed or otherwise traded.
