Tournament Rules

Ante Format (Big Blind Ante):
Single ante will be posted by the player in the big blind, in the amount equivalent to the big blind. Ante is posted before the big blind and players are eligible to collect the entire ante, even when out of the big blind. The full ante is maintained until the completion of the tournament.
Breaks:
40 Minute levels: Players will have a 15-minute break every three (3) levels. 60 Minute levels: Players will have a 15-minute break every two (2) levels. Day 1 will be provided a 60-minute dinner break (approximately 5:30-6:30 PM).
Buy-In & Fees:
Discounted Ladies Entry Fee: $1,100 Buy-in (Tournament Prize Pool) + $85 (Tournament Fee) + $45 Poker Staff Service Charge)
Late Registration:
Registration will close at the start of Level 10 (approximately 6:30 PM).
Levels, Per Day:
Day 1: Fifteen (15) levels of 40 minutes each. Day 2: 60 minute levels until the final nine (9) players remain. Day 3: 60 minute levels until a winner is declared.
Payouts:
One in eight (1-in-8) entries will be in the money (approximately 12.5%)
Players Per Table:
Tables will play 9-handed. The Final Table will begin 9-handed.
Players Card & Players Releases:
All Tournament players must be a Wynn Rewards member to participate.
Registration & Re-Entry Rules:
Unlimited re-entry will be available.

Seating Redraws:
A redraw will occur at the conclusion of Day 1 and at 27 and 9 players during the normal course of play.

History

WPT Ladies Championship

In December 2022, the inaugural WPT Ladies Championship at Wynn Las Vegas boasted the largest guarantee ($200,000) of any Ladies Event to date. The massive turnout of 578 entries pushed the prize pool to more than double that of the guarantee, reaching a total of $560,000. Many of poker’s most talented women competed for the record-breaking prize including Farah Galfond, Loni Hui, Ebony Kenney, WPT Ambassador Jamie Kerstetter, and Poker Hall of Fame nominee Kathy Liebert. Both Jamie Kerstetter and Kathy Liebert managed a final table run, however, it was Lina Niu who emerged victorious. Niu claimed $105,136 for her first place finish.

The WPT Ladies Championship is back in 2023 as a part of the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. This season’s edition of the Ladies Championship will feature an $1,100 buy-in and boast an even larger $250,000 guarantee. WPT is excited to host yet another highly anticipated exclusive event for women. Join the action on December 6th for Day 1 of the 3-day event.
