Tournament Rules

Action Clock:
Action clocks will be implemented at the start of Day 3, or earlier at the Tournament Directors' discretion, and will be used until the completion of the tournament.
Ante Format (Big Blind Ante):
Single ante will be posted by the player in the big blind, in the amount equivalent to the big blind. Ante is posted before the big blind and players are eligible to collect the entire ante, even when out of the big blind. The full ante is maintained until the completion of the tournament.
Breaks:
60 Minute levels: Players will have a 15-minute break every two (2) levels. 90 Minute levels: Players will have a 15-minute break after each level.
Buy-In & Fees:
$10,400 buy-in = $9,800 (Prize Pool) + $400 (Entry Fee) + $200 (Staff Fee)
Late Registration:
Registration will close at the start of Level 7 on each Day 1 (approximately 7:00 PM).
Levels, Per Day:
Day 1: Ten (10) levels of 60 minutes each. Day 2: Five (5) levels of 90 minutes each. Day 3: Five (5) levels of 90 minutes each. Day 4: Six (6) levels of 90 minutes each Day 5: 90-minute levels until the final 6 players are reached. TV Final Table: 90 minutes per level until two (2) players remain, 45 minute per levels thereafter.
Payouts:
One in eight (1-in-8) entries will be in the money (approximately 12.5%).
Players Per Table:
Day 1 starting flights will play 9-handed. Day 2 through Day 5 will play 8-handed. The Final Table will begin 9-handed.
Players Card & Players Releases:
All Tournament players must be a Wynn Rewards member and execute the WPT Player Release Form to participate.
Prizepool:
The prizepool will have $15,000,000 guaranteed.
Registration & Re-Entry Rules:
Registration will close at the start of Level 7 on each Day 1 (approximately 7:00 PM). One entry per day maximum (freezeout per flight).
Rules:
The Wynn Las Vegas poker rules will be used throughout the tournament.
Seating Redraws:
A redraw will occur at the conclusion of each day until 24 players remain. The final redraws will take place at 24, 16, and 9 players during the normal course of play.
WPT Player of the Year:

The $10,400 WPT World Championship is eligible for the WPT Player of the Year.

WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas

The first-ever WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas begins on December 12. The $10,400 buy-in tournament boasts the largest-ever live poker tournament guarantee of $15,000,000 and will be the main draw of the overall festival taking place beginning December 1.

Three Day 1s will take place on December 12, 13, and 14. Each individual flight is single-entry, for a maximum of three entries per player. The festival also features the WPT Prime Championship, and the WPT Ladies Championship, and a $2 million GTD Mystery Bounty. The WPT World Championship, WPT Prime Championship, and WPT Ladies Championship will all be recorded to be televised.

The historic tournament is the crescendo of WPT’s 20th season, which has been an ongoing celebration at tournament venues around the world since the start of 2022. WPT’s first-ever festival at Wynn Las Vegas will also feature The Premier Meet Up Game WPT Poker Icons Experience on December 2, where participating players will be joined at the table by Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, Steve Aoki, Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, and other surprise guests.
