Tournament Rules

Ante Format (Big Blind Ante):
Single ante will be posted by the player in the big blind, in the amount equivalent to the big blind. Ante is posted before the big blind and players are eligible to collect the entire ante, even when out of the big blind. Ante is maintained until the completion of the tournament.
Breaks:
Day 1’s A/B/C: Players will have 15 minute break for every 3 levels. Day 2: Players will have 15 minute break for every 2 levels. Final Table: Players will have 15 minute break for every 2 levels.
Buy-In & Fees:
BUY-IN: USD 1,000 + 100 (USD 1,100) (3% Staff Fee).
Late Registration:
Registration closes at the start of Level 7, approximately 17:30 on Day 1A, B & C.
Levels, Per Day:
Day 1A / 1B/ 1C : Play till field is in the Money; 40 minutes per level. Day 2: Play till the Final Table has been reached; 60 minutes per level. Final Day: Play sixty (60) minute levels until heads up, then levels become thirty (30) minutes in length.
Payouts:
One in eight (1-in-8) entries will be in the money (approximately 12.5%).
Players Per Table:
Play will start with 9-handed tables where space is available and will move to 8- handed as soon as possible when in the money.
Players Card & Players Releases:
In order to play in the event, each player must sign the WPT Player Release Form.
Registration & Re-Entry Rules:
Unlimited re-entry is allowed until the start of Level 7, when registration ends.
Seating Redraws:
Day 2, at 24 and 9.
WPT Player of the Year:

The Main Event is eligible for the WPT Player of the Year.

WPT Player of the Festival:

Winner of the WPT Prime Cambodia Player of the Festival will earn a WPT Passport for use at a WPT Main Tour event (approximate value of $5,000 USD).

WPT in Cambodia

World Poker Tour is returning to Cambodia for WPT Prime Season 2. WPT first visited Cambodia in 2019 as part of WPTDeepstacks and returned in 2022 for the first-ever WPT Prime Cambodia. After the first two events, which were met with strong enthusiasm from players in Cambodia and the surrounding region, WPT will look to continue its momentum in March of this year.

In WPT Prime Season 1, WPT Prime Cambodia saw an impressive turnout. The main event drew a field of over 1000 entries and boasted a prize pool of over $1 million dollars! It was David Erquiaga who managed to outlast the field of 1050 entrants to be declared WPT Prime Cambodia Champion. David was awarded a WPT Prime trophy and $137,008 for his first-place victory.

Nagaworld Resort will host what is expected to be another electric stop on the 2023 WPT Prime Schedule. WPT Prime Cambodia kicks off on March 9 with daily side events leading up to the $1,100 main event which will begin with Day 1A on March 16.
