$1,500 Bounty Confidential Tournament Starts on Monday at 2:00 pm

There will be a bounty tournament with a twist held here at Thunder Valley Casino Resort on Monday — the $1,500 buy-in Bounty Confidential.

There will be no bounties on Day 1, and the field will play as many 30-minute levels as it takes to reach the final 12.5% of the field. All of the survivors will advance to Day 2 where they will already be in the money.

Day 2 will see the blind levels increase to 40 minutes, and Day 2 is also when the bounties kick in, but with a twist.

Whenever a player knocks out somebody, they will get to choose from a pile of sealed envelopes containing bounty prizes ranging from $1,000 to $25,000. (This is why it’s a Bounty Confidential tournament, because you won’t know the actual value of someone’s bounty until after you eliminate them.)

And if the field attracts 300 or more players, the top bounty prize will be $50,000.

“Shuffle up and deal” is at 2:00 pm on Monday, which will coincide with Day 2 of the WPTDeepStacks Championship. Registration will be open with unlimited re-entries until 6:30 pm, so it’ll be an attractive option for players who either don’t make Day 2 of the WPTDeepStacks Championship or bust out during the first six levels of Day 2.
