A Moment of Silence for Matthew Hauge

Jul 5, 2016

The World Poker Tour is sad to report that one of the players who made it to Day 2 of the WPT500 — Matthew Hauge — passed away late Sunday night.

WPT Commentator Mike Sexton will lead the field in a Moment of Silence for the memory of Matthew Hauge before play begins at 1:00 pm.

Following the tournament rules, antes will be removed from Matthew’s chip stack at the start of each hand, and blinds will be posted when necessary. When Matthew’s chip stack reaches zero, he will be credited with the appropriate finishing place, and the money he’s earned in this tournament will go to his family.

The entire World Poker Tour family offers our condolences to Matthew’s friends and family for the unexpected loss of a friend, brother, and son that can never be replaced.
