Aaron Van Blarcum

Hand #128: Aaron Van Blarcum (pictured above) raises the button to 460,000 before Gueorgui Gantchev (pictured below) three-bets the big blind to 1,800,000. Van Blarcum responds by moving all in for roughly 13 million and Gantchev calls all in for 7,700,000.

Gantchev: Spade 5Diamond 5
Van Blarcum: Club 10Spade 10

With Gantchev at-risk, he would need to find a five to stay alive.

The dealer spreads the Spade QClub 8Club 4 flop to give Gantchev additional backdoor outs to a straight. The Diamond 3 on the turn would leave Gantchev drawing to one of the remaining fives, and when the Diamond 2 completes the board on the river, he is eliminated in second place for a $306,265 payday.

Aaron Van Blarcum wins the Season XVIII WPT Legends of Poker for $474,390, along with the $15,000 entry into the season-ending Tournament of Champions.
