Abbey Daniels Wins Three-Way All-In

Dec 5, 2012

Abbey Daniels now has a stack of about 70,050 after surviving a three-way all-in which left Andy Frankenberger and Louise Khanna crippled.

The hand played out like this:

Frankenberger raises to 1,150 from UTG+1, Khanna calls from the cutoff, Xuan Liu calls from the button, Daniels calls from the small blind and the big blind does the same.

The flop is [8c7d5c] and action is on Daniels. She announces she is all-in for her last 22,950. The big blind folds and Frankenberger asks for a count. The dealer counts out Daniels’ chips and Frankenberger announces he too is all-in for about 30,400. Khanna makes it a three-way all-in and pushes her stack of about 25,000 to the middle. Liu folds and the players show their hands.

Daniels = [8s7c]
Frankenberger = [7s5s]
Khanna = [8h5h]

Daniels leads with top two pair – eights and sevens, Khanna has top and bottom pair – eights and fives and Frankenberger has bottom two pair – sevens and fives.

The board completes [Jc] and [As] and Daniels’ hand holds. Khanna wins the side pot but is down to about 4,000 while Frankenberger has about 5,500 left.

Abbey Daniels – 70,050 (140 bb)
