Action Clock Hits WPT Choctaw

This year’s installment of WPT Choctaw doesn’t just kick off the first televised event of Season XVI, but it also sees the first official implementation of the Action Clock for all WPT Main Tour events. Partnering with Protection Poker, the Action Clock will start one full table off the money bubble and last until the conclusion of the tournament.

Players will have a 30-second clock for each action to help ensure an efficient pace of play, and players will receive four time-extension chips worth 30 seconds each. Upon reaching the final three tables of the tournament, each remaining player will reset to a maximum of six time-extension chips. At the official WPT final table, players will reset their bank of time-extension chips to eight each.
