Action Clock in Play; Davidi Kitai Left Confused

Dec 16, 2023

With the blinds only receiving 15 seconds to act for their preflop decisions, Davidi Kitai loses one time bank against Mihai Niste as they head to the Diamond ADiamond 9Diamond 2 flop. Niste check-raises from 30,000 to 105,000 and Kitai runs out of time once more. He then folds and loses two time bank extensions during the same hand.

One hand later, Niste opens to 35,000 on the button. Kitai’s clock runs down to five seconds before he loudly declares a three-bet to 130,000, which wins the pot.

After the hand is over, Kitai inquires with the dealer whether or not any count down needs to be announced.

Davidi Kitai – 820,000 (55 bb)
Mihai Niste – 870,000 (57 bb)
