Alain Medesan Gets His Aces Cracked and Is Eliminated by Jeffrey Colpitts

Alain Medesan raises from the cutoff, Jeffrey Colpitts reraises from the big blind to 3,500, and Medesan reraises to 10,000. Colpitts five-bets all in, and Medesan snap-calls all in for 37,300 with Spade AClub A.

Colpitts turns over Spade JHeart J, and Medesan needs his aces to hold to stay alive. “I folded a jack,” says Mike Dentale from the small blind, which makes the hand that much tougher for Colpitts to win.

But the board comes Spade QSpade 9Club 9Heart 8Spade 10, and Colpitts catches a runner-runner queen-high straight to win the pot and eliminate Medesan.
