Calderon made the final table in the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, Hollywood this past April, pulling in $326,750 for his fifth-place finish, and is in a prime position to surpass that feat headed into Day 3 as the chip leader, here in Choctaw.

Kyle Arora came into the second day second in chips, a place he finished once more as he ended the night with a respectable 2,755,000 (110 bb). Arora saw little turbulence throughout the day, but a little setback pushed him out of the top five until the last few hands of the night.

Arora found himself in a hand with James Mackey where the latter invested a heavy amount of their stack on the turn. Arora called and instantly shoved once Mackey checked the river. Mackey used four times chips but in the end, he let his hand go. Arora slammed over complete air, laughing as he pulled in a pot that brought him back near the top of the leaderboard.

Day 3 begins tomorrow at noon and play will not halt until just six are left for the WPT final table on Tuesday.
