Alexandre Kindermann Bez Triples Up Thru Darryll Fish and Adam Weinraub

Apr 1, 2024

After a flop of Club JDiamond 7Heart 6, both blinds check, and Darryll Fish bets 8,000 from middle position. WPT Champions Club member Adam Weinraub calls from the small blind, and Alexandre Kindermann Bez check-raises all in from the big blind for 19,500.

Fish thinks for a while before he calls, and Weinraub also thinks for a while before he calls. Any further betting will create a side pot between Weinraub and Fish.

The turn card is the Heart 2, Weinraub checks, Fish bets 40,000, and Weinraub says, “Good bet,” before he folds.

Fish shows Diamond QClub Q for an overpair, and Bez turns over Spade 5Diamond 4 for an open-ended straight draw. Bez needs to catch an eight or a three to stay alive.

The river card is — the Spade 3.

Bez makes his seven-high straight on the river to win the pot and triple up in chips.

Alexandre Kindermann Bez  –  73,000  (37 bb)
Adam Weinraub  –  135,000  (68 bb)
Darryll Fish  –  90,000  (45 bb)
