David Chiu raises to 13,000 on the button, Jeremy Kottler reraises to 37,000 out of the small blind, and, after some deliberation, Amit Makhija four-bets to 75,000 from the big blind. Chiu folds.
Kottler takes a minute or so to think things over, then reraises to 155,000 total. Makhija tanks for a bit, then calls.
The flop comes [Kd6c2d] and Kottler slides out a bet of 103,000. Makhija takes a little time, then moves all-in for around 415,000. Kottler calls immediately, flipping over [KsKc] for top set.
Makhija lets out a small sigh as he shows his [AdAs]. Makhija gets no help from the [Jc] on the turn or the [7d] on the river and he is eliminated just shy of the money, while Kottler ascends to the top of the chip counts.
Jeremy Kottler – 1,500,000 (250 bb)
Amit Makhija – Eliminated in 58th place
Bubbled. Got 1/3rd stack in BvB AA vs other huge stacks KK. Got rest in on Khigh board where I had the backdoor flush draw. Tournaments suck
