Andy Frankenberger Wins a Three-Way All-In to Knock Out Two Players, Including Taylor Paur

Jul 14, 2022

Late in the last level, with blinds at 500-1,000, WPT champion Andy Frankenberger raises from the cutoff to 2,400, the small blind calls, and fellow WPT champion Taylor Paur calls from the big blind.

The flop comes X 7X 4X 3 rainbow, and it checks to Frankenberger, who bets 3,000. The small blind check-raises to 7,000, and Paur moves all in for roughly 25,000.

Frankenberger calls, and the small blind calls all in with a shorter stack. All three players turn over their cards.

Andy Frankenberger:  X 3X 3  (set of threes)
Taylor Paur:  X QX 5  (gutshot straight draw)
Small Blind:  Diamond 7Diamond 4  (two pair, sevens and fours)

The turn card is the X A, the river card is the X J, and the set of threes holds up for Frankenberger to win the pot and eliminate both of his opponents on the same hand.

Andy Frankenberger  –  115,000  (96 bb)
Taylor Paur  –  Eliminated
