Aydin's Stack Halved; van Brugge loses Some

Apr 16, 2018

It hasn’t been a thrilling start for Fatih Aydin, who appears to have lost half of his starting stack already and remains on 15,000.

Kees van Brugge also lost some chips after he got into a bigger pot with Mohamed Mangroe, who had just arrived. On the Spade JClub 6Diamond 5Diamond 9 turn, van Brugge and Mangroe both invested more than 4,000 chips in a battle cutoff versus button and the duo checked through the Heart 4 river. Mangroe showed Club 7Club 5 and that was good enough to win the pot.

Wim Emo called a bet of 600 by the player in the small blind with the turn showing Heart 10Diamond 8Heart 3Club 6 and a third player came along. On the Club 6 river, only Emo called a second bet of 650 and mucked when he was shown Club 10Club 5 for tens and sixes.

In the meanwhile, Robert Auer has chipped up early without showdown and plenty of aggressiobn

Mohamed Mangroe – 37,000
Robert Auer – 32,000
Wim Emo – 26,000
Kees van Brugge – 25,000
Fatih Aydin – 15,000
