Big Stacks Patrick Bruel vs. Josh Neufeld

Mar 5, 2014

Patrick Bruel 1
Patrick Bruel (pictured above) raises under the gun to 62,000, Josh Neufeld reraises from the hijack to 150,000, and Bruel calls.

Both players check to the turn on a board of [Kc9d7h3h], and Bruel bets 300,000. Neufeld tanks for a while before asking Bruel if the turn card was good for him. Bruel says he has been playing poker for 35 years, and he has heard that question his entire career; but he doesn’t answer.

Neufeld appears ready to fold, but he tries one final offer: "I show, you show?" Bruel smiles and says, "Of course not."

Neufeld folds, and Bruel takes the pot.

Patrick Bruel  –  2,305,000  (96 bb)
Josh Neufeld  –  2,450,000  (102 bb)
