Bill Gazes Eliminated by Shawn Pilot

The very next hand after doubling up Gavin Smith, Bill Gazes is in the big blind with 3,000 of his 5,600 chips already in the pot.  Shawn Pilot is under the gun and raises to 8,500.  Gavin Smith calls from the button and Gazes moves all-in from the big blind without looking at his cards.

The flop falls [Ac7c5s] and Pilot bets 9,000.  Smith folds and Pilot shows [AsKh] for top pair.  Gazes stands and prepares for the worst.

"This is crucial," Gazes tells the table.  "I need the six of clubs."  He flips up his first card and it is not the six of clubs, but it is the [Ah].  The table collectively laughs at Gazes good fortune.  He then turns over his second card, the [6c]. 

"Hey, there’s my six of clubs," Gazes exclaims.

The turn brings the [3s], giving Gazes a straight draw.  The river brings the [Kc], giving the pot to Pilot and eliminating Gazes in the process.
