Badre al Ghouch Stacks Heavy in Day 1B to Take Overall Lead

The second flight of WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam attracted a whopping 392 entries, bringing the collective total of both flights to 757. Fabio Peluso topped Day 1A with an impressive 691,000 (115 bb) stack but a new leader is in town. Badre al Ghouch catapulted to 943,000 (157 bb) during the last hand of the night, taking the lead into tomorrow by a hefty margin.

Day 2 begins tomorrow at 12:30 pm, where the 95 survivors from the flights will return, all being guaranteed at least a min-cash worth €1,790. The players should have their focus on the biggest piece of the €734,290 Prize Pool that was accumulated, which will see one lucky hopeful walking away with €130,690 and the status of being a WPTDeepStacks Champion.

The second day of this event will have the 95 players battle it out until the final eight who will return on April 1, for a live-streamed final table. Day 2 will keep with the steady 40-minute blind levels but once Day 3 comes around it will be hour-long levels until heads-up beings, in which case 30-minutes will be brought into action.
