With 144 entries in the bag already, and late registration not closing until 11.40pm local time, action has been fast and furious here at the WPT-500 in Nottingham, especially since it’s only Day 1a.

Players can;t wait to get their chips in the middle, with four levels in the can, and we’ve lost an unlucky thirteen players from the field.

Terry Jordon isn’t one of them, sitting behind 85,000 chips, but he is no longer the chip-leader. To Terry’s right is the ultra-attacking Brandon Sheils on 104,000. That looks like it might be the biggest stack as players dart for a break.
