Kunal Patel raises from the button to 210,000, leaving himself just 40,000 behind. WPT Champions Club member Yevgeniy Timoshenko moves all in from the small blind for about 620,000, and Cliff Josephy calls from the big blind, covering both players.

Even with only 40,000 behind, Patel thinks for a while and looks at the payouts on the tournament clock — this hand could affect whether or not he makes the pay jump. Patel calls, and they turn over their cards:

Cliff Josephy:  Diamond ASpade Q
Yevgeniy Timoshenko:  Spade 6Diamond 6
Kunal Patel:  Club AClub 9

The board comes Diamond 8Diamond 7Club 4Spade 7Heart Q — Timoshenko flops a gutshot straight draw, but Josephy pairs his queen on the river to win the entire pot and eliminate two players in one hand.

Cliff Josephy  –  1,570,000  (98 bb)
Yevgeniy Timoshenko  –  Eliminated in 12th Place  ($59,079)
Kunal Patel  –  Eliminated in 13th Place  ($50,168)
